Last meeting of EVOLVET in Portugal

From the 26/04/2017 to the 29/04/2017 representatives of the seven partner organisations of EVOLVET will travel to Porto (Portugal) in order to implement the last transnational meeting of this partnership funded under the Erasmus+ programme of the European Commission. 

As final management event of the project, this encounter will allow to coordinators and outputs developers from the seven partner countries of EVOLVET to meet together and work on the coordination of the last activities to be implemented before the end of this European initiative. According to this, the meeting will have two main aims. On the one hand, to present the final draft and version of the manual for training volunteer coordinators that has been designed and tested during the previous stages of the project. On the other hand, to arrange and agree the structure and activities of the final activities of the EVOLVET: seven multiplier events (one on each partner country) that will be used to spread the project results among 140 experts, volunteers, staff and legal representatives of the third and public sector working on development projects based on volunteering. The meeting will be also useful to get to know the local team of the Portuguese partner of the project and the programmes run by this entity on the area.

EVOLVET (European VOLunteer coordinators Vocation Education and Training) is a two-year strategic partnership under the Key Action 2 of the Erasmus+ programme (vocational education and training) coordinated by the Spanish organisation CONGDCAR with the support of six entities working with development projects for social inclusion and education: Südwind (Austria), Art in Tanzania Ry (Finland), LVIA (Italy), Fund for Intercultural Education (Poland), Pista Mágica – Associação (Portugal) and Platforma dobrovolnickych centier a organizacii (Slovakia). Implemented the third transnational meeting of EVOLVET in Poland

The city of Warsaw hosted from the 27/11/2016 to the 30/11/2016 fourteen project coordinators and experts on volunteering coordination in order to take part on the third transnational meeting of EVOLVET, an initiative funded under the Erasmus+ programme of the European Commission. 

Thanks to a full time work programme all the attendees on the event were able not only to evaluate and study the results of the previous activities of the project, but also to agree how to proceed on the coming stages to implement. Using group analysis, open discussions and the feedback obtained by the testers who used them on the local workshops of the project, all the participants were able to decide how to improve the project intellectual outputs that are being developed by all the partners and focused on the education of trainers for volunteer coordinators in development projects. Once all the measures to be taken and next steps to complete were agreed, partners set the dates and working plan for the last transnational meeting of the project that will take place from the 26th to the 29th of April 2017 in Portugal and hosted by Pista Mágica.

Third transnational meeting for coordinators and staff of EVOLVET in Poland

Fourteen project coordinators and material developers of EVOLVET will join together from the 27/11/2016 to the 30/11/2016 to participate on the third transnational meeting of this project funded under the Erasmus+ programme of the European Commission. 

The main aim of this activity will be to evaluate the previous stages of EVOLVET and especially the workshops that have been developed on the last months on the seven partner countries of the project. Thanks to these local activities, potential trainers of volunteer coordinators in development projects have been educated with two main objectives. On the one side, to provide them new skills and competences for improving their work and role as trainers of volunteer coordinators. On the other side, the workshops have made possible to test, evaluate and improve the learning materials created by the staff of EVOLVET and designed on previous stages of the project. All the results obtained during this process will be shared by all the project representatives in this meeting in Poland in order to agree the final content on the project intellectual outputs and set the next steps to complete within the partnership. The activity will be also useful to get to know the local team of the Polish partner of the project and the programmes run by this entity on the area.

Questo pomeriggio è iniziato il "Workshop EVOLVET", 3 giornate di #incontro,#dialogo e #confronto sull'impatto del volontariato nella vita dei singoli e di intere comunità al Nord e al Sud del Mondo con LVIA.

L'incontro sarà realizzato con strumenti e metodologie di #educazione non formale che, attraverso attività, laboratori e testimonianze dirette dei servizi civili appena rientrati e di volontari che operano stabilmente nei Paesi, permettono un approccio dinamico e partecipativo.

Le giornate di inseriscono all'interno del progetto europeo Evolvet project che mira alla creazione di kit multimediali per la #formazione dei coordinatori di volontari professionali.
